In this video, we will cover how to create Group Chats.
On the admin dashboard let's scroll down and choose Chat Groups. There are bound to be many Chat Groups active within your company at any given time. As your usage increases, there will be more and more open Chat Groups within the company. Those Chat Groups will be shown here, along with any closed Chat Groups or direct one to one conversations that are happening within the company. Closed Chat Groups are Chat Groups where they are private, unable to be viewed by those who are outside of a chat group. This can be good for management, HR related conversations with executives, or any other private Group Chat environment that you want to create.
You can see there are two closed group chats, one for support and one for these five users. Let's create a new closed Group Chat. Perhaps we want one for the management team. We'll save that. On this screen, you can see we can upload our cover photo for the group, make it closed or open. In this example, we will do closed, let's add users. Let's do Jay and Carla, and we'll add. Jay and Carla are now part of this private group chat and this group chat thread will now show up on their devices.
